Job summary

Salford Royal Hospital, within the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a Receptionist/Clerical Officer for the Radiology team. The role focuses on patient-facing reception, booking appointments, and accurate data entry in a busy environment.

You will work flexibly to support 37.5, 30, or 22.5 hour patterns, with potential weekend work, contributing to high-quality patient service and departmental operations.

Qualifications

• Attend, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
• You need to have the confidence to speak face to face or over the telephone to deal with the patient’s needs, this can include booking appointments
• To use and access CRIS and be able to attend patients on reception desks
• Book appointments for patients as and when required
• Deal with enquires of a sensitive nature
• Attend Departmental meetings as and when required
• Access Patient Administration System when required to accurately record and collect patient data, ensuring errors are clearly identified and corrected including patient demographics

Responsibilities
