Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a Deputy Radiology Systems Manager to lead, develop and support PACS, RIS and associated radiology information systems across its health board.

You will work with clinical teams and vendors to ensure safe, efficient digital imaging services across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire, with a focus on governance, data quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Skilled radiographer with radiology IT experience.
• Experience with radiology information systems and clinical workflows.
• Ability to lead and support IT-enabled radiology services.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management, administration and development of PACS/RIS and related radiology systems.
• Provide specialist advice, first-line user support, issue analysis and fault resolution; maintain audit trails and data quality.
• Supervise PACS/RIS staff and deputise for the Radiology Systems Manager when required.
