Job summary

Alliance Medical in the United Kingdom is seeking a Clinical Systems Specialist to support the day-to-day operation and development of key clinical systems across the organisation, including PACS and RIS. The role is primarily home-based with occasional attendance at our head office in Warwick.

You will collaborate with clinical, technical and operational teams to improve system performance, support users and drive continuous improvements that enable high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of clinical systems and healthcare workflows.
  • Experience supporting IT or clinical applications in a service environment.
  • Knowledge of radiology systems such as PACS and RIS.
  • Experience with system integrations and workflow tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across clinical, technical, and operational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support and management of clinical systems to ensure high availability.
  • Troubleshoot system and application issues with vendors and internal teams.
  • Support system upgrades, reporting, audits, and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, workflows, and processes.
  • Assist with radiology workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and patient care.
  • Support system rollouts, user training, especially PACS-related solutions.
  • Collaborate on projects and ensure governance, quality, safety standards are met.
