Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Radiology Appointment Supervisor (Internal) to manage patient information, appointment scheduling, and clerical tasks across multiple radiology sites in Cumbria. You will work within the Radiology admin team, ensuring accuracy, patient comfort and smooth patient flow.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines while liaising with referrers, transport services and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• GCSE English or equivalent. NVQ 2/3 in Customer Services or equivalent.
• ECDL or equivalent and knowledge of information handling.
• Experience with radiology admin duties and patient data entry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage patient information using computer and manual files.
• Check patient identification and input data accurately into systems.
• Answer patient enquires and coordinate radiology appointments.
• Explain examinations to patients and liaise with referrers and transport.
• Work within the radiology admin team and maintain systems knowledge.
