Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Technical Manager – Radiological Protection to lead a portfolio of radiation protection projects within the nuclear and defence sectors. You will act as the technical authority on RP strategies, regulatory compliance and risk management, ensuring safe and compliant delivery while aligning with client objectives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in radiological protection for nuclear or defence projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK IRR17 and ALARP.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical oversight for radiological protection projects in nuclear and defence.
• Act as a trusted technical authority on radiation protection, regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Ensure delivery is safe, compliant and of high quality while meeting client objectives.
