Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to support the Mk0 ECRS radar program. You will work with a broad engineering team across requirements, design and verification, while deputising for the Chief Systems Engineer as needed.

The role offers growth within a world-class aerospace and defence environment with clear career progression and security clearances. Hybrid working with onsite Edinburgh is available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams in a dynamic engineering environment.
• Radar systems design or qualification experience at lead engineer level.
• Familiar with Pulsed Doppler radar waveform design and signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate maintenance of ECRS Mk0 System Engineering Development Plan and ITEAP.
• Define functional architecture for ECRS Mk0 Radar System.
• Provide technical leadership to System SMEs within the Integrated Programme Team.
• Deputise for the Chief Systems Engineer across relevant forums and areas of responsibility.
