Leonardo UK Ltd. is seeking a Senior/Principal Systems Engineer to drive requirements, architecture and integration for the ECRS Mk2 radar system on Typhoon. You will work across hardware, firmware and software domains and lead cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure robust, testable designs.

The role requires hands-on systems engineering expertise, model-based methods and experience with major modelling tools in an international defence environment, with hybrid working options in the UK.

Qualifications

• Understanding of full-lifecycle Systems Engineering principles.
• Experience in the design and capture of complex hardware, firmware and/or software interactions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements and identify system functions.
• Own technical delivery of work packages and design features across hardware, firmware and software domains.
• Lead cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure coherent system design across subsystems.
