Job summary

Leonardo UK is recruiting for a Lead Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership across the systems engineering scope of a radar program. You will ensure customer needs translate into a coherent, verifiable system solution delivered on time, cost, and quality.

Collaborating with the SEM and other stakeholders, you will apply MBSE processes and governance to deliver robust, certifiable systems in line with project milestones and KPIs. Hybrid working options are available where possible.

Qualifications

• MBSE approaches and tools knowledge.
• Model-based systems engineering experience across full lifecycle.
• Ability to lead system definition, requirements and verification.
• Experience in complex multi-disciplinary engineering environments.
• Excellent communication of complex technical issues to stakeholders.
• Experience with design reviews, trade studies and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall technical leadership for systems engineering across the project.
• Lead MBSE activities and improve tool knowledge within the team.
• Coordinate MBSE with international groups as MBSE point of contact.
