Job summary

McLaren Racing is seeking a Laminating Technician to produce high-quality composite laminated components for our current and future Formula One cars. You will work within tight deadlines, handling laminating, mould preparation and autoclave processes to exacting standards.

You will apply vacuum bagging techniques, maintain moulds, and collaborate with engineers to ensure safety and performance on track, delivering reliable results while upholding our commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a skilled composite laminator.
• Experience in motorsport or aerospace is advantageous.
• Knowledge of laminating, mould prep, vacuum bagging and autoclave processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and output.
• Clear and accurate communication skills with the ability to understand requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce and laminate composite components for current and future Formula One cars.
• Prepare, manufacture and maintain moulds to required standards.
• Vacuum bag components and operate autoclaves per prescribed processes.
• Deliver high-quality work safely within demanding timescales.
• Support other teams to meet changing workloads and priorities.
