Job summary

McLaren Racing is seeking a Laminating Technician to produce high-quality composite laminated components for current and future Formula One cars, delivered to tight deadlines.

You will prepare, manufacture and maintain moulds, vacuum bag components and operate autoclaves in line with prescribed processes, delivering safe, precise work while meeting evolving workloads and collaborating with nearby teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a skilled composite laminator.
• Experience within motorsport, particularly Formula One, or aerospace would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of composite laminating, mould preparation, vacuum bagging and autoclave processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality, performance and output.
• Clear and accurate communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate understanding.

Responsibilities

• Produce and laminate composite components for current and future Formula One cars.
• Prepare, manufacture and maintain moulds to the required standards.
• Vacuum bag components and operate autoclaves in accordance with prescribed processes.
• Deliver high-quality work safely and within demanding timescales.
• Support other teams when required to meet changing workloads and priorities.
