Job summary

McLaren Automotive Limited is seeking a Laminating Technician to produce high-quality composite laminated components for current and future Formula One cars while meeting tight deadlines on-site in the UK.

You will prepare, manufacture and maintain moulds, vacuum bag components, and operate autoclaves, delivering safe, precise work and supporting teams as workloads shift. This role offers a fast-paced, high-performance environment within McLaren Racing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a skilled composite laminator.
• Experience in motorsport or aerospace is a plus.
• Knowledge of laminating, mould prep, vacuum bagging, & autoclaves.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Clear and accurate communication skills.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience as a skilled composite laminator.
• Experience within motorsport, particularly Formula One, or aerospace would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of composite laminating, mould preparation, vacuum bagging and autoclave processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality, performance and output.
• Clear and accurate communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate understanding.
