Job summary

Ascot Racecourse Ltd is seeking a Raceday Steward to ensure safety, security and enjoyment of racegoers. You will work as part of the Raceday Stewarding Team, directing, managing and assisting visitors within your area while upholding the high standards of Ascot.

Stewards are highly visible, mobile and active throughout the day, typically working up to 8 hours, with duties including understanding Emergency Procedures and maintaining access control.

Qualifications

• Be familiar with emergency procedures and codes.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist visitors within assigned areas while delivering high standards of service.
• Maintain controlled access to restricted racing areas and report hazards promptly.
• Escalate issues to Supervisors through proper channels during raceday.
• Be a calm, professional representative of Ascot in all interactions.
• Attend raceday briefs and on-site training as required.
