Job summary

Tracerco in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and delivery of R&D projects. You will work with technical leads, product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure objectives are met and risks are managed.

The role emphasizes governance, structured delivery, and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle, including planning sessions, RAID logs, and milestone tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex projects in an R&D/engineering environment.
• Strong planning skills with governance and RAID log maintenance.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods.
• Confident stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Azure DevOps or Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of R&D projects from initiation to completion.
• Define scope, objectives, priorities, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource plans.
• Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and issues with mitigations.
• Maintain governance docs, RAID logs, action trackers, and reports.
• Facilitate planning sessions, project reviews, and checkpoints.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
