Job summary

The Pickering Group is seeking a proactive R&D Project Coordinator to support the Project Management Department within the R&D organisation. You will coordinate detailed project plans, timelines, and documentation, ensuring visibility of risks and progress to R&D Leadership.

You will organize meetings, manage project administration, and help remove roadblocks so multi-disciplinary projects across R&D can deliver effectively. Strong organisation and communication are essential.

Qualifications

GCSEs including Maths and English (minimum).
Experience with Microsoft 365 apps (Word/Excel/Outlook).
Experience in project-based environments and high-paced engineering contexts is advantageous.
Good judgement, self-motivation, multitasking and strong organisation.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and milestones.
Prepare project reports for R&D Leadership, identify risks, dependencies and delays.
Ensure adherence to project methods, processes and standards throughout the lifecycle.
Maintain and update all Project Documentation and reviews.
Organise and lead project meetings, distribute agendas and track actions.
Set up R&D projects and add them to relevant systems.
