Walsall Council is seeking a Revenues & Benefits Assistant in the Council Tax team to support billing, collection and recovery of Council Tax income in line with legislation and policy.
You will handle inquiries, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain knowledge of Council Tax legislation and procedures. The role requires GDPR/compliance awareness and BPSS checks where applicable. Based in Walsall, the role supports front-line service delivery.
G6: £31,537 -£34,434 per annum
We currently have an exciting opportunity available within the Council Tax team, as a Revenues and Benefits Assistant.
You will ensure the delivery of efficient and effective local taxation administration and collection and support the delivery of an effective Revenue collection service covering Council Tax and Business Rates.
