Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a motivated professional to join the QuickSTAT operations in a supervisory role at the LHR Control Tower. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate with Customer Service and Sales, and ensure processes run smoothly according to policy.

The role operates 24/7 with a fixed shift pattern, requiring commitment to delivering an excellent client experience and maintaining data accuracy across reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Service.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of World Geography and awareness of different time zones.
• Excellent time management and problem solving skills.
• Good communication skills and analytical ability.
• Ability to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the daily operations of the LHR Control Tower team.
• Managing daily email volumes in the Control Group inbox.
• Develop and implement customer focused operational policies and procedures
• Assist with complex and escalated Operational issues in accordance with the Operations Manager / Supervisor.
• Monitor accuracy of reporting and data base information
• Co-ordinate customer service projects and initiatives
• To ensure Network / Vendor partner compliance to all agreed company policies, procedures and pricing structures

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all QuickSTAT operational activities, making sure everything runs smoothly and in line with company policies. You'll work closely with our Customer Service and Sales teams to deliver an excellent experience for our clients and ensure their needs are met. QuickSTAT operates 24/7, and this position has the following shift pattern - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 08:00 -19:00 and Saturday 07:00 - 18:00h.
