Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver for the Furzebrook operation. You will transport quarry materials safely between the quarry, processing plant, storage areas and customer locations. The role requires careful adherence to regulatory requirements and high safety standards.

The position is permanent, full-time, with a 47.5-hour week, day shifts, and a shift pattern including a greasing allowance. Imerys offers a comprehensive benefits package and long-term development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV driving licence (Cat C).
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 LGV rigid tipper vehicle between quarry, processing plant and client sites.
• Conduct pre-use inspections and report defects.
• Comply with Road Transport Regulations, Drivers' Hours and tachograph rules.
