Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong CAD/FEA experience with thermal/mechanical systems.
• Experience designing thermal management and electronic enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and test thermal control systems for ion trap devices.
• Design, build and test electronic enclosure assemblies for ion trap devices.
• Integrate mechanical designs with laser systems and electronics.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers, Physicists and Quantum Engineers.
• Support project planning, reporting progress and issues.
