Job summary

RSE Water in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Asset Management team on a permanent basis. You will manage financial and commercial aspects for projects and portfolios within the water sector, collaborating with an established delivery team.

Key duties include preparing schedules, BOQs and payment applications, reviewing scopes and variations, sub-contract administration and final accounts, and reporting on financial performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for Bills of Quantities and procurement docs.
• Experience with valuations and variations on contracts.
• Excel literacy for financial tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare activity schedules, BOQs and resource profiling.
• Prepare payment applications for client submission.
• Review scopes, notify and prepare variations as needed.
• Administer sub-contracts including documents, valuations and final accounts.
• Analyze commercial progress with project delivery teams.
• Prepare internal financial reconciliation and forecast project performance.
• Negotiate final accounts with clients.
