Job summary

Esh Group, operating through the Esh-Stantec joint venture, seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join a large, collaborative team in Bowburn. You will oversee commercial management of water sector contracts, with a focus on measurement, valuation and cash flow control to support project delivery.

The role requires strong cost control, subcontract management and contract administration skills, working closely with site teams to protect margins and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in a commercial environment within construction.
• Competent in Civil Engineering construction processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Measurement & valuation of works and interim valuations.
• Cost control and reporting, CVRs and cost tracking.
• Contract administration and subcontract management (NEC/JCT).
• Support variations/compensation events and final accounts.
• Project support with site teams to monitor progress and margins.
• Record keeping and ensuring governance and compliance.
