Job summary

Esh Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the civils frameworks division, supporting commercial management of contracts within the infrastructure sector. The role involves measurement, valuation, cash flow management, and ensuring contractual compliance.

You will work with Site Managers and delivery teams, monitoring costs and delivering financial targets while maintaining robust commercial records and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience and a proven track record in the commercial environment.
• Competent in Civil Engineering construction processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Measure works on site and from drawings.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely valuation of works.
• Assist in monitoring project costs and budgets.
• Produce cost value reconciliations and subcontract liability reports.
• Assist with variations / compensation events and dayworks.
• Administer subcontracts in accordance with contract conditions (e.g. NEC).
• Support management of payments, notices, and final accounts.
• Work with Site Managers and delivery teams to monitor progress and commercial impacts.
• Maintain commercial records and ensure governance and reporting timelines.
