Energy Jobline CVL in Kent is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support NEC-based commercial delivery on water industry projects. You will manage tenders, valuations, and final accounts across the project lifecycle while coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

Hybrid working is available, with long-term framework opportunities and clear career progression. NEC contract experience and strong cost control skills are essential to succeed in this role within MEICA and water infrastructure

Formación

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor within construction, utilities, infrastructure, or engineering
• Strong working knowledge of NEC forms of contract
• Good commercial awareness and cost management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience within the water industry is advantageous but not essential

Responsabilidades

• Support the commercial delivery of projects from contract award through to final account
• Prepare and agree valuations, variations, and measurements
• Procure and administer subcontract packages, including tender enquiries and negotiations
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, cash flow, and commercial performance
• Assist in the management of commercial risks, opportunities, and change control
• Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and commercial reporting
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams
• Ensure compliance with NEC contracts and commercial procedures
• Support Senior Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers in the successful delivery of projects

Duties for Quantity Surveyor
