Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage mixed tenure housing schemes across the south west. Based in the Devon office, you will visit sites regularly and take full commercial control of projects.

You will have a strong housing background, solid experience in measurement, valuation and final accounts, and be capable of managing sub-contractor procurement with COINS knowledge. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial control of your own projects with timely and accurate reporting

• Liaise with clients and site teams to ensure commercial objectives are met

Seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor, to manage 2 medium - large scale schemes. Delivering mixed tenure housing across multiple sites throughout the south west, therefor a varied background in housing and contracting would be advantageous however sole experience in either will be strongly considered! Based in the Devon office you will visit sites regularly.

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial control of your own projects, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, dealing with all elemental reconciliations and cash flow forecasts. You will manage cost control procedures, contributing to effective cash management, completing all of sub-contractor administration and identifying and managing risk of developments.

You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in housing, knowledgeable within measurement, valuation and final accounts. Managing sub-contract orders and procurement with competency in COINS. Client-driven, with strong decision making and communication skills, candidates will be able to prioritise work against tight deadlines and sometimes conflicting priorities.
