Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Complex Projects team in the UK. You will manage NEC4 contracts, budgeting, forecasts and cost reporting, while liaising with clients, stakeholders and contractors to deliver value for major projects.

You will work towards or hold RICS Chartered status, with a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, and strong IT, literacy and numeracy skills. NEC4 experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Working towards Chartered status with RICS or equivalent.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent by experience.
• Good IT and communication skills; knowledge of standard methods of measurement.
• NEC3 or NEC4 contract experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Administer NEC4 contracts (Varying Main Options).
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, risk, cost reporting and payment processing.
• Meet contract timescales and respond on behalf of the client.
• Support cost planning and reporting aligned with project programme.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders; attend site visits and interim valuations.
• Assist in assessing final accounts.
• Be an ambassador for the profession.
