Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Complex Projects team. You will deliver cost planning, estimating and budget management from feasibility through final account, across infrastructure, water, rail and defence sectors.

You will build strong client and supplier relationships, support procurement and contract administration, and lead change management while driving value engineering and risk mitigation. Hybrid working and flexible leave are available.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience, with chartership progress viewed as a plus.
• Experience in cost planning, estimating, benchmarking and commercial management within infrastructure/construction sectors.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with data interpretation and communication of insights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost planning, estimating and budget management from feasibility through to final account.
• Prepare accurate cost forecasts, cashflows and monthly reports.
• Support procurement activities including tender documentation and contract preparation.
• Administer various contract types and ensure compliance with terms.
• Manage contract changes, review validity, quotations and timely submissions.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks; assist value engineering to improve project performance.
• Build effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
