Job summary

Avove is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team in Durham, with home working options. You will support budgets, financial reports and contracts to help each project succeed, building trusted relationships with clients and subcontractors.

The role requires an HNC in Quantity Surveying and NEC3/NEC4 contract experience. A full valid driving licence is a prerequisite, and you’ll thrive on problem-solving, teamwork and shared success.

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience managing NEC3 or NEC4 Contracts (target cost, fixed price, or cost reimbursable).

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Team to ensure compliance with Avove systems, processes, and procedures.
• Manage budgets, financial reports and contracts to help each project succeed.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and monitor performance.
• Support Business Development by contributing to tenders and bids.
• Be part of a supportive team that values collaboration, communication, and a can-do attitude.
