Job summary

Avove seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Commercial Team in the UK. The role is full-time with a hybrid pattern—based from the Durham office with home working. A full valid driving license is required.

You will manage budgets and contracts, build client relationships, and support tenders, contributing to a multi-year framework with NWG. You will bring an HNC in Quantity Surveying and NEC3/NEC4 experience, and enjoy problem-solving and teamwork within a collaborative environment

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in Quantity Surveying is required.
• Experience managing NEC3/NEC4 contracts (target cost, fixed price, or cost reimbursable).
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Team to ensure compliance with Avove systems, processes, and procedures.
• Manage budgets, financial reports and contracts to help each project succeed.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and monitor performance.
• Support Business Development by contributing to tenders and bids.
