Job summary

Gold Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Milton Keynes with regional travel. You will support the commercial delivery of a diverse portfolio of highway, traffic management and civil engineering contracts, ensuring profitability and strong client relationships.

You will work alongside an experienced team to manage valuations and final accounts, monitor costs and budgets, and contribute to ongoing career development within a growing infrastructure contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience in highways, traffic management, utilities or wider civil engineering.
• Experience administering NEC contracts and managing subcontractor accounts would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial delivery of contracts from award through to final account.
• Prepare and submit valuations, applications for payment and variations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts to maximise commercial performance.
• Assist with Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and other commercial reporting.
• Procure and commercially manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and provide practical commercial advice.
• Support negotiations and the final accounts process.
