Job summary

Gold Group Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Milton Keynes to support the commercial delivery of a diverse project portfolio. You will work with the commercial and operational teams to ensure projects are profitable and well controlled.

This role involves NEC contract administration, client liaison, and proactive management of costs, variations and final accounts, with regional travel as required.

Qualifications

• Valuations and payment applications prepared and submitted.
• Cost control and forecasting to maximise profitability.
• CVRs and other commercial reporting prepared.
• Procuring and managing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Managing client and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the commercial management of projects from contract award through to final account.
• Preparing and submitting valuations, applications for payment and compensation events/variations.
• Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasts to maximise commercial performance.
• Assisting with Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and other commercial reporting.
• Procuring and commercially managing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities while providing practical commercial advice to operational teams.
• Supporting negotiations and assisting with the agreement of final accounts.
