Job summary

Upfront Recruitment is seeking a Quantity Surveyor – Fit Out / Construction to join an established Bristol-based contractor. The role combines office-based commercial duties with site visits, covering projects from Bristol to London.

You will manage costs, forecasting, valuations, variations, and client liaison across multiple projects, with travel across the South of England. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a company car and travel expenses.

Qualifications

• Experience in fit-out, shopfitting or related sector.
• Experience managing commercial aspects of projects Bristol to London corridor.
• Strong cost management and financial reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing project costs and commercial performance.
• Supporting cost control and forecasting.
• Reviewing project financial information (valuations, payments).
• Managing variations and change control.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Reviewing valuations and payment processes.
• Attending project sites across Bristol to London area.
• Working with delivery teams to support completion.
