Job summary

Bimplus is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well‑established Tier One/main contractor team in the South West. The role is flexible, based at Bristol with an initial Plymouth refurbishment project, and offers hybrid working with site visits as required.

You will manage costs from procurement to final account, control variations, prepare valuations and reports, and build strong client and subcontractor relationships across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Background within a main contractor environment.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (JCT experience preferred).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build lasting relationships.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.

Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Leading Tier One Contractor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Tier One main contractor delivering high-profile construction projects across the South West.

This is a flexible role based out of the company's Bristol office. The successful candidate will initially support a major external refurbishment project in Plymouth, however the role offers flexibility depending on where you're based.

Candidates living closer to Bristol will be able to spend much of the working week in the Bristol office, travelling to the Plymouth project approximately one day per week. Those based further south may choose to spend more time on site. Following the completion of the Plymouth scheme, future projects are expected to be located closer to Bristol, making this an excellent long-term opportunity for candidates across the South West.

The Role
