Job description

THE ROLE

My client, an established firm of PQS with offices abroad and in London, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their City of London office.

You will have the opportunity to work on both UK and overseas projects, including HNW private residential, hotels, and other large projects.

The ideal candidate will have around 3-5 years of QS experience, preferably gained with another PQS firm.

You may be working towards the APC or be recently chartered with the RICS.

My client offers good CPD opportunities and support to achieve the APC if you are not already chartered.

THE COMPANY

My client is a firm of PQS with a strong client base primarily in the private sector. They are a large construction consultancy with clients in the UK, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will ideally be currently employed at a PQS firm with at least 3 years of experience in both pre- and post-contract duties.

A BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, RICS-accredited, is required.

You should be working towards or recently achieved chartership (APC or RICS).

You should be capable of working independently and as part of a team, with a stable work record.

Excellent written and spoken English skills, along with good IT skills, are essential.

The salary range is approximately £35,000 to £55,000, plus RICS fees, pension contributions, discretionary bonuses, etc.
