Job summary

Barratt Redrow is seeking a Commercial professional to manage site costs and ensure budget targets are met across a busy housing development. Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager, you will maintain cost control, produce regular cost and value reports and lead subcontractor procurement and variations within policy.

You will contribute to value engineering, manage tenders and ensure compliance with NHBC, Building Regulations and HSE, while liaising with site teams to

Qualifications

• Qualified to HND level or higher with a valid CSCS card.
• Strong numeracy with attention to detail and data interpretation for budgets and valuations.
• Strong IT skills and experience with project management/payment and valuation software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control procedures and report on cost and value reconciliation.
• Compile site budgets and ensure timely delivery of cost plans and valuations.
• Procure subcontractors and materials using Group procedures and manage variations within budget allowances.
• Lead value engineering to achieve best value and liaise with site teams to maximise productivity.
• Prepare tenders and evaluate subcontractor bids, ensuring compliance with Group policies.
