Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking a Commercial professional to manage site costs, budgets and valuations, ensuring cost certainty and value engineering. You will oversee subcontractor processes, material procurement and reporting, with a strong emphasis on compliance with policies and NHBC regulations.

You will need an HND level or higher with a CSCS card, strong IT skills, and the ability to work within a fast-moving environment to deliver best value on site.

Qualifications

• Qualified to HND level or higher with a valid CSCS card.
• Must have a full understanding of current market conditions and rates.
• Must be able to control cost to complete on all trades and on all provisions to ensure live cost certainty.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control procedures and work within group policies and procedures.
• Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reports; stay updated on materials, regulations and NHBC requirements.
• Manage cost control, budgeting and valuations; update estimated final costs and reconcile absolute cost and value.
