Job summary

Taylor Wimpey plc is seeking a commercially focused professional to support procurement, commercial and contractual aspects of the BU. You will interface with site teams, subcontractors and partners to drive tender recommendations, WIP, cashflows and final accounts, while ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and NHBC standards.

The role involves regular site visits, attendance at meetings and maintaining accurate reporting across JV schemes, with opportunities for career development

Qualifications

IT literacy and familiarity with construction software.
Experience with procurement, tendering and subcontractor management.
Knowledge of building regulations and NHBC standards.

Responsibilities

Tendering and procurement of sub contracts in line with site programmes.
Monitor and evaluate contractor performance and take action as needed.
Manage subcontractors involved in the commercial function.
Ensure accurate commercial reporting for JV schemes.
Be aware of changes in legislation affecting building regulations.
Attend prestart and design meetings and other required meetings.
Undertake regular site visits and reporting.
Carry out other duties as required by the Commercial Manager.
