Job summary

Taylor Wimpey seeks a commercially minded professional to support procurement, commercial and contractual aspects of the Business Unit on our projects. You will interface with site teams, subcontractors, external suppliers and JV/Development partners to help deliver value.

Key duties include scheduling and quantifying materials and labour, monitoring costs, processing applications and payments, and contributing to budget preparation and CVR reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction Commercial/Procurement on projects.
• Industry related business qualification.
• IT literate with COINS/Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and quantifying materials and labour.
• Ensure commercial procedures comply with TW Manual and Operating Framework.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure project viability and cost effectiveness.
• Process applications and payments and resolve issues with Finance.
• Monitor cost movements and CVR reporting.
• Prepare budgets and manage development cost reporting.
• Maintain budgets in Coins and Excel.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with internal/external stakeholders.
