Job summary

Involve Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK infrastructure contractor for a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in North Wales. The role focuses on the commercial management of a portfolio of civil engineering projects valued between £3 million and £8 million, with NEC contracts experience highly desirable.

You will work alongside Senior Quantity Surveyors, supporting procurement, contract administration and monthly reporting while contributing to the company’s

Qualifications

• Experience in Quantity Surveying within civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure.
• DESIRABLE: understanding of NEC forms of contract.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial management of multiple projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the administration of NEC contracts, including compensation events, early warnings and contractual notices.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, valuations and monthly CVRs.
• Procure and manage subcontract packages, including payments and variations.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of applications for payment.
• Monitor project costs, identify commercial risks and support value engineering initiatives.
• Negotiate subcontractor accounts and contribute to final accounts.
• Work with site teams, project managers and clients to deliver projects commercially and contractually.
