Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC4 contract experience to join its Highways division in the UK. You will lead a commercial team and support successful delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects.

The role is hybrid with office-based work in Warrington, collaborating with operational teams, subcontractors, clients, and senior leadership to drive value and ensure financial performance.

• Lead and support a team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Administrators.

• Drive value maximisation through effective change control and contract management.
• Ensure accurate weekly cost reporting, valuations, and WIP management.
• Prepare payment applications and support the business in achieving cash flow targets.
• Provide commercial insight to Project Managers, Contracts Managers, and the Commercial Manager.
• Support annual budget preparation, monthly reforecasting, and profit & loss reporting.
• Build strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and internal stakeholders.

We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC contract experience, to work for a major contractor within its Highways division, In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing commercial performance, leading our commercial team, and supporting successful delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects.

The role is Hybrid, office-based in Warrington, working closely with operational teams, subcontractors, clients, and senior leadership.

What you’ll be doing

Key Responsibilities

As a QS, you will:

• Lead and support a team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Administrators.

Who we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS—ideally within highways, infrastructure, civil engineering, structural repair, concrete remediation, or similar
• Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts (essential).
• Skilled in developing and managing subcontracts and commercial agreements.
• Highly organised, analytical, and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong IT skills (Word, Excel) and clear, professional presentation abilities.
• A team player with integrity, accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
