Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support a major highways programme across the North West. You will join the established commercial team, handling cost management, subcontract administration and NEC contract management on a large civil engineering project.

Working with Senior Quantity Surveyors and the Commercial Manager, you will produce CVRs, forecasts and cost reports, monitor project costs and cash flow, and assist with final accounts while identifying commercial

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within highways, infrastructure or civil engineering.
  • Good understanding of NEC contracts.
  • Experience managing or assisting with subcontract accounts.
  • Ability to produce CVRs, forecasts and cost reports.
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative and able to work in a project team.

Job description

Overview

A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a major highways programme across the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established commercial team, working on a significant civil engineering project and supporting the commercial management of works from project delivery through to final account.

Working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors, the Commercial Manager and operational teams, you'll play an important role in cost management, subcontract administration and NEC contract management, helping to ensure strong commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the commercial performance of highways and civil engineering projects
