Quantity Surveyor - Weybridge

Location: Weybridge, Surrey

Salary: Competitive

Type: £60 - £70k

A long-term client of mine is looking to bring an experienced Quantity Surveyor into their commercial team following the award of several new contracts.

Based in Weybridge, they deliver projects predominantly across Surrey, covering education, public sector refurbishment, heritage and high-end commercial schemes.

The QS will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, including:

• Subcontract procurement and package management
• Cost reporting, forecasting and budget management
• Valuations, payments and final accounts
• Variations and change management
• Reviewing and negotiating subcontractor accounts
• Monitoring project costs and commercial performance
• Working closely with Contracts Managers, clients and subcontractors

The project portfolio is varied, including education, public sector refurbishments, high-end car dealerships and heritage schemes, offering plenty of variety in the workload.
