Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in Bristol is seeking Quantity Surveyors at multiple levels to work on a large long‑term M&E project. You’ll engage across the full commercial lifecycle, from design through to practical completion, with exposure to substantial mechanical and electrical packages.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveyors from M&E, building services, specialist contracting or wider construction backgrounds.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical projects.
• Experience with JCT contracts.
• Monthly valuations, CVRs and cost reporting.
• Variations and change control.
• Final accounts.
• Subcontractor commercial management.
• Commercial risk.

I’m recruiting Quantity Surveyors at multiple levels for a large, long term M&E project in Bristol.

This is a good opportunity for commercially minded QSs who want exposure to substantial mechanical and electrical packages and the chance to work across the full commercial lifecycle of a project.

What you’ll be doing

Depending on your level, responsibilities will include:

• Managing project costs
• Preparing and progressing monthly valuations
• Managing variations and change
• Job costing and financial reviews
• Preparing and agreeing final accounts
• Monitoring payments against contract terms
• Reviewing contracts and highlighting commercial risk
• Working closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and site teams
• Maintaining accurate project documentation
• Supporting the wider commercial team
