Job summary

21st Century Building Services, based in Bedminster, Bristol, is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. The role covers pre-construction through final account on projects across the South West, with a focus on cost control, procurement and client liaison.

You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and site teams on multiple projects, enjoy a competitive salary plus car allowance and benefits, and have opportunities for

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline preferred; relevant experience considered.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge.
• Experience managing projects through the full commercial lifecycle.
• Confident negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Manage project costs, budgets and commercial reporting.
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.

We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team.

Based in Bedminster, Bristol, 21st Century Building Services is a family-run main contractor, delivering refurbishment, new build, fit-out and extension projects across a wide variety of sectors throughout the South West.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially driven QS looking for variety, responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact within a growing business.

The Role

Working closely with our Commercial Manager, Contracts Managers and site teams, you’ll take commercial responsibility for multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account.

What We’re Looking For
