Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor working on a major highways project along the A66 in Cumbria. Based in Penrith, you will support commercial management and financial performance across the project lifecycle.

You will manage costs, budgets and subcontractor payments, ensure contractual obligations are followed, and collaborate with site teams to identify risks and opportunities on this high-profile scheme with

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience with highways, roads or major infrastructure projects would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of subcontract management, valuations and final accounts.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both commercial and operational teams.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, working on a major highways infrastructure project along the A66 in Cumbria.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the wider commercial and operational teams to manage project costs, contractual obligations and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
