Job summary

Strong Recruitment Group Limited in Maidstone is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will collaborate with Directors, project teams, subcontractors and clients across a growing portfolio of schemes.

The role requires a proactive, detail‑driven professional with solid knowledge of procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts, plus the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Qualifications

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction, property development or refurbishment.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Good knowledge of subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Good contractual knowledge, ideally including JCT contracts.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Construction would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Quantity Surveyor

Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £60,000-£70,000
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

An established and growing property development and refurbishment company based in Maidstone is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its team.

The business delivers a variety of property development and refurbishment projects, currently valued up to around £1 million, with plans to take on larger projects as the company continues to grow.

The Quantity Surveyor will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with the Directors, project teams, subcontractors and clients.

Key Responsibilities
