A leading MEICA / M&E contractor in Kent is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team. You will take commercial responsibility from tender award through final account, ensuring financial delivery while supporting project teams and the wider supply chain.

Experience delivering construction or engineering projects under NEC contracts is highly valued; the role offers long-term framework work with clear career progression and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor in construction, utilities, infrastructure, or engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; cost management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial delivery of projects from contract award through to final account.
• Prepare and agree valuations, variations, and measurements.
• Procure and administer subcontract packages including tender enquiries and negotiations.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Assist in the management of commercial risks, opportunities, and change control.
• Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and commercial reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams.
• Ensure compliance with NEC contracts and commercial procedures.
• Support Senior Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers in the successful delivery of projects.

Duties for Quantity Surveyor

• Experience within the water industry is advantageous but not essential
