Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London, Bournemouth-based main contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a stadia project. You will manage large subcontractor packages, including groundworks and MEP, while controlling monthly valuations and liaising with the client to settle final accounts.

The role offers a salary up to £70k, a Company Car / Car Allowance, an extensive benefits package, and progression opportunities within a solid pipeline of work.

Qualifications

• HNC or degree in a construction-based field.
• Experience administering JCT contracts.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Must live within commutable distance to Bournemouth.

Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor based in Bournemouth on a stadia project. Due to the scale of the project, the company are now looking to expand their team with an additional Quantity Surveyor.

About the role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a project valued at around £85m looking after large subcontractor packages such as groundworks and MEP.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract procurement
• Manage subcontractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements

• Have a HNC / degree in construction-based field
• Have administered JCT form of contract
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
• Must live within commutable distance to Bournemouth
