Job summary

Pro Staff Construction Ltd. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position in Taunton.

The role covers commercial aspects from inception to final account on diverse regional projects in the South West and South Wales, involving refurbishment, new builds, and maintenance. You will manage subcontractor procurement and payments, cost reporting, valuations and variations, and work closely with Contracts Managers and site teams to maintain strong client and subcontractor

Qualifications

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a main contractor environment.
• Experience across refurbishment and/or new build projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects effectively.

Quantity Surveyor - Permanent

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Package

Location: Taunton / South West

Pro Staff are working with an established construction contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.

The company delivers a diverse range of new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects across the South West and South Wales, working within commercial, education, healthcare, leisure sectors.

The Role:

• Managing the commercial aspects of projects from start through to final account
• Subcontractor procurement, management and payments
• Cost reporting, valuations and variations
• Preparing and agreeing final accounts
• Working closely with Contracts Managers and site teams
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors

The Candidate:
