Your new company
Our client is a large Scottish-owned construction and development business with interests across the whole sector. One of their busiest businesses is primed for a strong period of growth, and they are now seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team. With projects across the Central Belt and with the ability to work from home, this role can offer exceptional career development, progression and flexibility.
Your new role
Reporting to an exceptional commercial manager and director who are well respected, this is a role which will allow you to develop your skillset towards Senior Quantity Surveyor and beyond. Your initial role will involve working on some existing projects and getting them commercially closed, but as time progresses you will get exposed to newer projects commencing in Glasgow and Edinburgh. This will involve working with the operational team in terms of procurement , methodology and will allow you to get fully embedded in these new projects as they commence. These projects are residential in nature and are typically blocks of flats working with both private and public sector developers.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is seeking an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor, perhaps a sharp Assistant QS seeking to step who is looking to work for experts in this space. The commercial manager is an expert across multiple sectors of construction and has a great track of developing quantity surveyors underneath them. They are professional and realistic and will offer the successful candidate an interesting and stimulating work environment.
