Role Title: Quantity Surveyor

Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Locations: Glasgow / Helensburgh - Hybrid

Salary: £42,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week

Role Overview — Quantity Surveyor

A Quantity Surveyor is required to support multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects, taking responsibility for cost management, commercial oversight, and supporting effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cost planning, forecasting, and cost control activities across design and construction projects.
  • Develop cost‑saving approaches while maintaining expected standards and project quality.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and variations.
  • Track and report on project costs, commercial risks, and financial performance.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and delivery partners.
  • Ensure all commercial activity aligns with relevant standards, regulations, and internal processes.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a closely related discipline.
  • Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or infrastructure.
  • Strong grasp of contract management, procurement routes, and cost management principles.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively and manage a varied workload.
  • Competent using project and commercial management tools/software.
  • Able to gain SC Clearance is required.
