Job summary

Enable Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established specialist contractor based in Harrow. The role focuses on delivering value across demolition and related works through robust commercial management.

The successful candidate will handle pre- to post-contract activities, collaborate with operations and clients, and drive sub-contractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts for high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of Quantity Surveying experience.
• Solid background in demolition, cut and carve, structural alterations or related specialist contracting sectors.
• Experience with subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations, cost reporting, forecasting and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-contract through to final account.
• Work closely with operational teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery and strong commercial performance.

A well-established specialist contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team based in Harrow.

The company is recognised for delivering complex demolition, cut and carve, structural alteration and enabling works projects across London and the South East. With a strong order book and a growing pipeline of secured work, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join a business that continues to secure high-profile projects.

The successful candidate will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with operational teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery and strong commercial performance.

Applicants should have a minimum of four years' Quantity Surveying experience and must possess a solid background within demolition, cut and carve, structural alterations or related specialist contracting sectors. Individuals currently working for, or with experience gained from, leading specialist contractors such as McGee, John F Hunt, Deconstruct, Keltbray or similar organisations will be of particular interest.

The role will involve subcontractor procurement and management, valuations, variations, cost reporting, forecasting, final accounts and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
